    FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our services, programs, and approach to addressing family violence.

Social work supervision is incredibly beneficial for practitioners working in the field of family violence. It provides a structured opportunity to reflect on your practice, receive guidance and support, enhance your skills, and address any challenges you may encounter in your work. Our supervision approach is tailored to your individual needs and focuses on promoting personal growth, ensuring safety, and building resilience within the Pasifika community.

Our family violence facilitation service is designed to support both victims and abusers of family violence within the Pasifika community. For victims, the programme focuses on healing, empowerment, and safety planning. For perpetrators, it addresses accountability, responsibility, and strategies for non-violent behaviour.

Both programmes are culturally sensitive and aim to promote positive change and break the cycle of family violence.

Our services are available to all individuals within the Pasifika community in New Zealand who are impacted by family violence, regardless of gender or age. Whether you are a victim seeking support, a practitioner in need of supervision, or a perpetrator ready to address your behaviour, we are here to help. Additionally, our services are available online for those living outside of Tamaki Makaurau. Please feel free to reach out to us for more information or to discuss your specific needs.
